Leave a CommentThe CH-CM0406 Cut Pre-Point Chamfer Machine makes carbide blanks that are ready for tool grinding. The machine converts blank carbide rods into tool blanks. It is ideal for cutting tool manufacturers that want to make tools from a blank that is already pre-pointed and chamfered. The machine is easy to setup and runs unattended.
Pre-point angles are generated through interpolation. The interpolation is automatically calculated based on parameters entered by the operator during setup. The parts are held in place by two collets and the part is transferred from the cut and pre-point collet to the chamfer collet directly. A transfer device deposits the completed piece into the collection basket.

Also great for high speed steel. Built in the USA, the Rush Easy-Cut XL is fully enclosed and has semi-automatic or manual operation. The semi-automatic operation features an automatic clamping, down feed, and return cycle.

2 Rod CNC “Auto-Cut”
Leave a CommentThe 2 Rod “Auto-Cut” CNC Carbide Cut-Off Machine automatically cuts carbide rod into precision lengths. This production machine, designed for cutting tool manufacturers and carbide rod processors, has a large capacity magazine and an automatic loader to provide hours of unattended operation.
The 2 Rod “Auto-Cut” can double the production rate for cutting carbide and hardened steel rod when compared with manual cut-off machines. It has easy to use CNC controls with a touch screen operator interface. Parameters can be quickly set for rod diameter and length. The machine automatically loads and cuts rods from a large capacity magazine. Capacity of the 2 Rod “Auto-Cut” is .079” (2mm) to .787” (20mm) diameter rod, up to 15 3⁄4” (400mm) long, or .079” to 1.575” for single rod, and comes standard with a flood coolant system.
