Radius Grinding Fixtures
These fixtures for grinding ball, corner radii, and concave radii on shank and arbor-type cutters, feature solid cast iron construction for rigid, vibration-free grinding. The fixtures provide for grinding radii up to 3” on tools.The universal style base fits most tool and cutter grinders and surface grinders.Workheads are available for endmills and shank-type cutters, as well as arbor-type cutters. Dovetail ways with adjustable gibs allow smooth motion and accurate grinding.
In addition to the universal mounting base, a pivot centering gage, base keys and T-bolts come standard on the fixtures. Options include index plates to 48 divisions, and collets and arbors to match customer tooling.
