Rush Machinery Expands Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service Teams with Key New Hires

Rushville, New York — July 23, 2026 — Rush Machinery is pleased to announce the addition of four new team members in recent months across its engineering, manufacturing, and service operations, strengthening the company’s ability to design, build, and support advanced grinding and cutting tool machinery.

The new hires include:

  • Johnathon Moody, Design Engineer

  • Keith Cochrane, Field Service Engineer

  • Chris Rogers, Shop Technician

  • John Savage, Electrical Shop Technician

Together, these additions significantly expand Rush Machinery’s technical depth across product design, electrical systems, mechanical fabrication, and customer field support.

“These new team members bring a strong combination of engineering expertise and hands-on industrial experience,” said Bill Freese, President of Rush Machinery. “As demand for our equipment and services continues to grow, expanding our internal capabilities ensures we can continue delivering high-quality machines and responsive support to our customers.”

Johnathon Moody joins the engineering team with extensive experience in mechanical design and product development, including advanced CAD modeling and manufacturing engineering. Keith Cochrane strengthens field service capabilities with decades of machine building, installation, and troubleshooting experience across multiple industries.

Chris Rogers brings more than 20 years of maintenance, machining, and fabrication experience to the shop floor, supporting machine assembly and repair. John Savage adds deep electrical expertise in industrial controls, machine wiring, and troubleshooting, enhancing Rush Machinery’s electrical build and support capabilities.

These additions reflect Rush Machinery’s continued growth and ongoing investment in expanding both its technical workforce and customer support infrastructure to meet increasing demand across North America and global markets.
